Register New U.S. Citizens to Vote! October 9, 2008

It's so exciting and rewarding to see the happy families - new U.S. citizens - sign up to vote in their first election. This huge (18,000 in one day) Naturalization Ceremony is the last big one in the L.A. area before the registration deadline before Nov. 4. Shifts at 9:00, 1:00 and 4:30 at the L.A. Convention Center (LACC) downtown, or come for all day. No limit on volunteers. We'll train you on the spot, it's easy. We won't know where at the LACC we'll be exactly until that day; could be inside or out. Bring cash for parking at the LA Conv. Center or surrounding lots. Always a traffic jam, so come early.
