Cincinnati, Ohio 45202

Demonstrate how the arts has the capacity to educate, inspire, entertain and promote our local economy. Introduce the class to the arts and cultural history of Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati, to the opportunities and challenges facing art organizations in our region and to the artist within them. We know that cities don't just grow and get better. They have to be made better by people, for people. The arts have much to do with the quality of life. The presence of cultural activities is a potent force in helping to make a city attractive to the new breed of college graduates and younger people who have a strong social and cultural awareness. So it is a matter of enlightened self-interest for business to support the arts. And it is a matter of good corporate citizenship. But most of all, it is a matter of making our community a better place to live for those of us who take great pride in calling it home. Directions: 4th Floor Park in the surface lot across Elm St from the Cincinnati Opera & Music Hall.
