Jason Ayers, Chief Technology Officer of Earth911 (http://earth911.com/), will be talking about how to survive the "Oprah Effect." (The process of having Oprah drive millions of hits to your site.) For the past two years on Earth Day, The Oprah Winfrey Show highlighted Earth911 as a valuable recycling resource. Jason and his developers experienced the kind of traffic spike that most of us dream of...or have nightmares about. They'll be sharing the lessons learned from the experience between three airings and offer some helpful hints to the community.
