Refresh Boston will return at the end of August for our end-of-summer event featuring Christine Perfetti, CEO and Founding Principal of Perfetti Media, who will present Quick and Dirty User Research Techniques.

We'll meet in our usual location, on the 11th floor of the Microsoft NERD Center in Cambridge, right next to the Kendall Square T stop, from 6:30-9PM. For more information, visit the Refresh Boston website.

Quick and Dirty User Research Techniques

There are those that believe that user research must be a complex and scientific process that takes lots of time, money, and resources. However, in the real world, most designers and engineers don't have the luxury to spend weeks and months on their user research. That's where guerrilla research techniques come into play.

Christine will discuss user research techniques, including 5-Second Tests, Task Cataloging Questionnaire, Comprehension Tests, Catalog-based Tests, The First Click Method, Trade Show Tests, and Remote Research.

In this presentation, Christine will share Perfetti Media's experience with these techniques and discuss how you can perform them yourself.
