Intimate & Interactive Open Mic was created to bring a sense of awareness around not only performance art but the art of media training in artists as well. Every headliner has been hand-selected to perform and answer questions from the audience in regards to their push and struggle to the top.

Intimate & Interactive proves that everyone has a story and Toronto has many unknown diamonds in the rough ready to take form.

A*GAME BIO:

A-Game has been making a name for themselves since the age of 13, in the challenging and thriving music scene. Born and raised in the city of Toronto the hip-hop duo consists of identical twins by the name of Rommel and Robert Hinds-Grannum also known as Nova and Chase. From hundreds of new fans to a successful EP entitled "The World Is Yours", which has already sold over 1000 plus units across the city. Upon their success in selling the album, Hiphopcanada.com and Toronto's urban music station Flow 93.5, among others discovered the duo's talent which brought A-Game to a higher plateau in the music industry. With Toronto's present void of real hip-hop, A-Game's style has caught the attention of Maximus Entertainment, producer Boi 1da,T. Minus, Tone Mason, and Chris Childz to name a few. Nova and Chase's ability to co-produce and write their own music give them an advantage in collaborating with some of the best producers and accomplished artists. Artists such as Desert Storm’s very own Ransom, Luu Breeze and Kim Davis. Their music, their passion, and determination to become a household name is not far from reach at the rate of their success. Simply put, A-Game's signature sound is mind provoking, original and relative. The duo mix their styles and tempos to instigate a novel breed of sounds, which has been demonstrated in their EP "The World Is Yours" and the recently released mixtape "Running On Time" hosted by Dj Lust and Ransom on their independent label, T.A.G. also known as The Armadah Group. In North America, A-Game has conquered the popular hip-hop and R&B stations with their latest hit single "The Preparation" featuring the R&B songstress Kim Davis. They have been featured in videos such as Xzibit’s “Concentrate” and have made friends on set with artists such as Kardinal Official, Keisha Chante, The Clipse, Sean Paul and Fabolous. All this and their dedication to the genre prove their high caliber of talent and artistry. With the same work ethic and desire to succeed, these twins are destined to be faces that will be recognized world wide.

REEMA MAJOR BIO:

At 15, Reema Major has a bright future ahead.

Rapping since the age of 5, Reema has been around the mic her whole life. She moved to Kansas City at the age of 9 and spent a lot of her childhood there writing and rehearsing, astounding listeners with her delivery and lyrical abilities.

In 2009 after moving to Toronto she was introduced to Kwajo Cinqo from Canada’s legendary hip-hop group Ghetto Concept. “From The Moment I met her I knew that she was destined to be a superstar, Kwajo says. “I was very impressed by her confidence, swagger, and lyrical wordplay.” Besides her skills on the mic, Reema has an incredible work ethic. A studio enthusiast, she understands the amount of effort and work that goes into taking herself to the top. In one session she easily records 3-4 self-penned tracks. Her writing ablities make her a sought after ghostwriter. I want to go down as one of the best female rappers ever, she says matter-of-fact.

Her sound is versatile, and it depicts her worldly outlook on life. Reema speaks Arabic and Tribal Tongue (Sudan), and her music is a reflection of her personal experiences. For the past three years she has also been taking acting classes, preparing herself for a career in film as well.

Reema is a style queen with an impeccable fashion sense and plans for her own clothing line. Her first single Gucci Bag was released to an online audience in October of 2009 introducing her to the public. Due to the large demand and positive feedback, Reema released her first mixtape Youngest in Charge in January 2010 to an online audience. Her second street single Arabic Princess off her mixtape followed shortly. Both her singles are now available on iTunes. Currently she is working on her second mixtape entitled “I’m The Illest Kid”, which is due to come out in summer 2010. This CD will feature original beats produced by Kwajo Cinqo, T-NYCE, Major Music, and VYBE Beats. G7 will soon also be releasing short videos for Reema’s first two singles: Have Fun and Arabic Princess.
