Little Mexico by Marian Marzynski, (2006, 18 min.) focuses on Elvira Arellano, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, and her young American-born son, who have taken sanctuary in a Chicago church.

In Crossing Arizona, (2005, 55 min.), illegal immigrants traverse the desert in unprecedented numbers. The film examines the crisis from both sides of the border.
