Reel Buckeye Shorts January 30, 2008

Ohio State's student filmmaking collective Reel Buckeye builds on the prototype of TV's Project Greenlight and provides production support to scripts selected through competitions. This program features brief pieces produced through the group's inaugural Shorts project.

Dirty Work (David Beeching & Steve Mohler, 12 mins., video) takes place around a campfire and explores the consequences that may await bad boyfriends if they aren’t careful. The Best Day (Kristina Hall & Aaron Kunkel, 20 mins, video.) follows the unrequited love between an unstable young man and his best friend’s sister who meet ten years after last seeing each other. A college student has a major revelation for his family and roommate during Thanksgiving in Giving Thanks (Ferdinand Fernando & Matt Porter, 25 mins., video).
