About Alland Byallo:

If you don't know about Alland, then you don't know SF techno. Having been raised with music since the age of 5, Alland made the progression from musician, to DJ, producer, and head for his own Nightlight music label. His productions have been released on Liebe*Detail, Floppy Funk, Utensil, and SF's own Dirtybird. As resident at [KONTROL] and frequent guest across the country and Europe, Alland has also shared the decks with names like Superpitcher, Trentemoller, Michael Mayer, Swayzak, Miss Kittin, Modeselektor, Claude VonStroke, Jeff Samuel, Heartthrob, Ambivalent and many others.

After performing a rare live set at Seattle‘s Decibel Festival and DJing at Lovefest SF in 2007, playing the Beatport Stage at DEMF 2008, a DJ performance at Decibel 2008, and a successful European mini-tour including gigs at such world famous clubs as Panorama Bar (Berlin), Propoganda (Moscow) and T-Bar (London), it’s obvious that the future looks bright for both him and his label, Nightlight Music. Come catch Alland before he's off for Berlin!

About Nikita

It wasn’t too long ago that NIKITA ventured out from Denver, Colorado to pursue his dreams of working in the music industry. A lifelong love affair with music began as a young boy playing piano, singing and dancing… It wasn't until later later in life when Nikita attended a warehouse party that would change his life forever (Circa 93’) - Nikita became one of Denver’s ‘underground party-scene offspring’!

In 2000, Nikita left Colorado for California… In the past eight years Nikita’s perseverance and pure love for quality dance music has placed him among the top DJs of San Francisco’s world-famous club scene. In 2005 Nikita was chosen to host his own radio show on Northern California's Energy 92.7 FM – The Massive Mix. It was Nikita’s raw talent that also landed him a residency at San Francisco's legendary nightclub, The EndUp.

Performing anywhere from 2 to 8 hours; Nikita's playfulness behind the decks takes you on a ride seamlessly blending sick minimal grooves, heavy basslines, melodic synths, and twisted beats, while still keeping it soulful and deep. Nikita has played along side the likes of Lee Burridge, Steve Lawler, Steve Bug, M.A.N.D.Y., Tom Stephan (Superchumbo), Craig Richards and Damian Lazarus, with inspirations coming from friends like Ms. Honey Dijon, Tedd Patterson and Danny Tenaglia. Through his broad musical taste and genre bending, Nikita has always managed to create a unique dance floor experience that continues to draw a diverse audience.

About The Worker:

The Worker (Fiction)

The Worker began DJ'ing in Seattle in the late 90's - exploring the deep smokey sounds of downtempo, instrumental hip hop, nu jazz, soul and funk - sounds from labels such as: Compost Records, Sonar Kollektiv, K7! and G-Stone, while producing club events at Seattle's Speakeasy, 700 Club and Habana's. These events mixed house and hip hop DJs with live acts that explored new sides of soul, funk, and jazz - groups such as Maktub, Critter's Buggin, Unispere (w/ Reggie Watts), Crack Sabbath and others. Many of these nights also included additional performers such as dancers, painters, and playful theatrical performances.

In 2001 he moved to San Francisco to finish school and shortly after graduating began working for the Mission based eclectic world record label Six Degrees Records - exploring contemporary global electronic music. He produced and DJ'ed a weekly global electronic event called "Stateless" with DJ Special Agent K which grew into a monthly at Amnesia and eventually Rickshaw Stop - showcasing Smith and Mighty's Rob Smith, DJ/rupture, Filastine, Maga Bo, Kush Arora, Jef Stott, Mexican Dubwiser, Timeblind, Maneesh The Twista and others. At the same time he also produced the monthly Brazilian electronic night "Novo Soundz" at supperclub focusing on current Brazilian electronic artists with live video mixing, samba dancers and acrobatics. In 2007 and 2008 he produced and DJ'ed the label's WMC showcase events at Opium Garden, CIFO and The Standard Miami - which featured artists: Nickodemus, Gaudi, Maga Bo, Jef Stott, David Starfire, among others.

Over the last few years he's concentrated his DJ'ing and promotional energies on some of his primary musical loves, house and techno. Exploring the less conventional terrain of these genres, with mutant strains of disco, The Worker and the crew Fiction began their monthly night three years ago - an unpredictably wild affair at Polk St.'s Vertigo. In 2009, they moved to San Francisco's techno "epicenter," 222 Hyde, and began hosting some of SF's finest guest DJs - while establishing a unique musical flavor and solid, enthusiastic following. In addition, over the past few years, they've hosted one-offs at venues such as Mighty, Temple, supperclub, Pink, Asia SF and the Polk St. Fair. This has included opening sets for DJs and producers Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, John Selway, Claude Von Stroke, Worthy, Landshark, Lee Foss and Rob Rives.
