Redemption is a new bi-weekly Reggae event, held every other Thursday at Jaxx Nite Club in Springfield VA . Jaxx Nite Club 6355 Rolling Road, West Springfield, VA 22152

Redemption is dedicated to brining the best in Reggae , Dub, Roots and Dancehall. Two Rooms of Sound and lighting.

Proverbs

Proverbs is a positive, unique, rootz reggae band utilizing strong lyrical content and musical expression to uplift Rasta Livity. Specializing in socially conscious roots, the band endeavors to promote Ancient Wisdom through the art of music, thereby spreading the spiritual message of JAH RAS TAFARI through word, power, and sound. Proverbs Reggae Band offers fans and true music connoisseurs of all social economic and racial backgrounds, a brand of MUSICAL POETRY, ROOTZ RASTA STYLE. Proverbs has been in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area since 2000.
Proverbs has shared the stage with such musicians as Third World, Luciano, Wyclef, Bambu Station, Dean Frazier’s Band, RAS Attitude, and Chiek Diabate from Mali, West Africa to name a few.

Lucky Dub

Lucky Dub is a band that formed in the summer of 2007. They play that feel good Reggae music. Inspiration comes from Bob Marley, Sublime, Toots, 70's Funk players like Sly and the Family Stone, and so many more great musicians and bands. Lucky Dubs roots are definitely with Reggae but they do have that Funk, Ska, Rock, and even a little Hip/Hop feel to their sound. All walks of music are in their blood.
