Red, White and Zoo Animal Enrichment July 3, 2009

Woodland Park Zoo's will feature animals throughout the zoo receiving Fourth of July favorites, such as star-shaped popsicles and watermelons. Visitors will hear from expert zookeepers as they talk about how treats and other activities are part of the zoo's ongoing enrichment program to help enrich the lives of the zoo's animals, promote natural behavior, keep animals mentally stimulated and provide added enjoyment for visitors.
