Red Deer Club May 3, 2008

Having been promoting excellent shows in Manchester for nearly three years, the promotional outlet known as the 'Red Deer Club' returns to its second home and the almighty festival known as sounds from the other city.

With a couple of UK tours under their belt, and now an established record label, the red deer club bids farewell to the live circuit in Manchester with a grand finale. Promising a festival within a festival (how postmodern???!!) head honcho Dunk Le Chunk has pulled out all the stops and dusted down the bunting to present a very special line up. Ditching the usual folk tag, expect a full day of 'popular music' presented with a red deer twist. With impromptu performances in the church gardens, cake stalls, a tombola plus special guest djs.
