20.6 million people in the U.S. have diabetes, of which only 5%-10% have Type 1 or "Juvenile Diabetes."

This is an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system attacks and destroys the insulin producing cells (beta cells) of the pancreas. While treatment is available through multiple daily injections, there currently is no cure. Long-term effects of the disease include serious eye disease, cardiovascular disease and nervous system, kidney and vascular disorders.

Power 10 Media is proud to present this red carpet charity event for Juvenile Diabetes.
All proceeds will benefit the JDRF, an international research foundation dedicated to finding new treatments, procedures and hopefully soon, a cure.
