The goal of most backwoods hill jack Owen county banjo players is not to make a lot of money or get all engrossed in the fame that inevitably follows his chosen path. He’s a real Kentucky artist, and his goal is to play for a captive audience -- one that is full of listeners who appreciate the skill of his craft and participate in the resonance of his sound. Red Barn Radio has been giving talented Kentucky artists this sort of captive audience for many years now… and dedicated musicians all over the state are given opportunities to reach listeners who tend to support good music and participate in its creation…The lifeblood of music everywhere.
