The Velvet Blue is an original and cover Bluegrass band, hailing from Lexington, Morehead, Vanceburg and Ashland, KY. Although all musicians have played in many other groups for many years, this is their first year playing together as The Velvet Blue! The Velvet Blue members are: Lucy Becker – fiddle, Lexington, Taylor Hampton- mandolin, Vanceburg, Carrie Johnson- bass and vocal, Lexington, Brian Cooper - guitar and vocal, Morehead, Harold Henry - banjo and vocal, Ashland.
