Red Barn Radio Welcomes Argo Lynn October 19, 2011

Argo Lynn began as the husband and wife duo of Chris and Teresa Gast, who met in college at Morehead State University. Chris is a former member of King Friday, which formed in Morehead in the mid-nineties, and Teresa was a founding member of The Filberts, a Lexington band of the late nineties and early 2000’s.
Teresa’s hometown, Argo, is deep in the Appalachian Mountains, at the easternmost point in Kentucky near the Virginia state line. Growing up in Appalachia and later discovering the roots of her father’s family in the Mississippi Delta has influenced Teresa’s songs and the band’s sound.
For our performance on Red Barn Radio, Teresa and Chris will be joined by Katie Burriss, who was also a founding member of The Filberts. and Erik Shields, former member of The Filberts and Lexington band Balishagg.
