Recycles Day Fair 2011 November 10, 2011

. The City of Laredo would like to celebrate it by organizing an event that educates and raises public awareness of the environmental benefits of recycling. These activities include a recycling contest, collection event, tours of the Landfill Material Recovery Center (Recycling Center), and an environmental educational show on Friday, November 10th, 2011.

This year’s event will be the 6th annual Recycles Day Fair. We have had great events with over 500 students participating from both school districts and charter schools.This event is scheduled for November 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for LISD, UISD, and private schools; it will be open to the public from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. that same day.
