OPENING RECEPTION OF THREE NEW EXHIBITIONS! GET A CHANCE TO MEET BILL AND SEVERAL OTHER NEON ARTISTS IN PERSON. ABOUT THE SHOWS--RECYCLED, RECLAIMED, AND REINVENTED: THE NEON ART OF BILL CONCANNON--- Bay Area-based neon artist Bill Concannon has devoted a lifetime of work to his passion of neon sign making as an art form. On exhibition through October 31, 2010, visitors can explore a range of Concannons neon works and interact with his imaginative and playful use of found objects, image, and word play. ---"F.O.B" FRIENDS OF BILL--- A group show selected by Concannon, featuring neon artists: Larry Albright, Bill Alsup, Arlo Fishman, David O. Johnson, Shawna Peterson, Bruce Suba, Ed Tannenbaum, Stuart Ziff and Elyse Weidner.---CALIFORNIA SURF--- In the vestibule gallery, a site-specific installation by black light artist Jerico Woggon called "California Surf." This installation engulfs the observer as they wander through long corridor of black light following the rays of the sun and a giant ocean swell! Continuing the surf theme in our lobby gallery are works by Richard Ankrom, Norton Wisdom, Larry Manson, and Randy Noborikawa.
