Brothers’ Brothers, Five Grand Stereo and FunkNYC Present the Rebound Summer DJ Series!

Rebound
with
DJs: Greg Caz (Brazilian Beat) and DougS. & T_Mak (Brothers’ Brothers)
at Water Taxi Beach!?
This week, Greg Caz from Brazilian Beat and DougS. & T_Mak from the Brothers' Brothers take over the Water Taxi Beach. The Water Taxi Beach in Long Island City is a beautiful beach (check the photos: www.watertaxibeach.com/photos.html) that’s shuffling distance from PS1’s Warm Up party. So wear the flip-flops you can dance in! There’s also a HUGE tented, wooden floor for dusting it up!

Greg Caz, one-half of the Brazilian Beat Brooklyn team that has been holding down Sundays at BK's Black Betty for almost 5 years, and is responsible for the "Baile Funk 1 & 2" miix, "Viva O Samba" and "Soul Of Samba-Rock" CDs. Others may know Caz from his longtime Wednesday night residency at Nublu in the East Village alongside Forro In The Dark. Others still may have encountered him in the decade-plus his been plying New York venues with the choicest funk + soul + reggae + Latin + jazz + rock + etc + etc + etc....

The Brothers' Brothers, T_MAK and DougS., have worked dance floors together and separately for over 12 years with a musical style steeped in Midwestern influences, from Chicago House to Detroit Techno and beyond. Both have traveled nationally and internationally, expanding their range while exporting their own brand of jacked-up beats. Together, they have released original material on the once-great Mole Listening Pearls label and have organized countless roof parties, lofty hootenannies, and club basement all-nighters.  Oh, and don't forget REBOUND!
