Re-Generator February 12, 2007

The first meeting of the MIT Generator that took place Tuesday November 14 was an exciting and energizing event that drew in more than 100 participants from departments all across the Institute, including Civil and Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Computer Science, the Engineering Systems Division, and the Sloan School of Management. The event brought together several undergraduate and graduate student groups on campus including the Energy Club, SfGS, S*, MIT Student Pugwash, Sloan Net Impact, SAVE and the UA Campus Sustainability Committee. This coalition of student groups with support from LfEE, EPO and MIT facilities hopes to serve as the focal point for “walking the talk” through campus energy and environment initiatives.
