he Richmond Comedy Coalition Mainstage takes you to a dark place in THE BAT, as one suggestion from the audience gives flight to a completely improvised show in pitch black. This is their twisted take on an old timey radio show. So sit back, close your eyes and keep your hands to yourself.
The RCC is RVA's premier improv theater, performing comedy similar to what you'd see at the UCB Theater or Second City.

Also featuring opening sets from KARATE PRACTICE and TERRIFIC SIX, with guest performer, Steve Nelson.

KARATE PRACTICE
RCC Houseteam and Richmond improv legends in the making.
Kicking ass, taking suggestions!

TERRIFIC SIX
Matt Newman and Steve Nelson are friends and improvisers. Matt recently bought Steve the worst book Steve has ever read. This is their two-man improvised show.

About Steve Nelson:

Steve is an actor, improviser, and writer hailing from Chicago. He recently finished the sketch show 'Call Of The Riled' at the Second City, performs weekly with iO house team Rick, and with Salute Jive, his two person show, all around town. Steve coaches improv as well, at iO and independently. He also co-hosts a weekly podcast you can listen to at work if you're bored: 'Groh Show with Danny Groh'. He loves going to movies by himself, his motorcycle, and Turkish delight.
