It is impossible to talk about the history of rock music, or the bands that had the biggest impact in the creation of rock’s dark identity without heralding The Doors. Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, John Densmore, and Robby Krieger went on to reshape the landscape of music with a sound that fused flamenco guitar, bossa nova percussion, spook house organ, and poetry.

The shooting star that was Jim Morrison unfortunately left us all too early, and in doing so, stopped what could have been. The Doors legacy and myth continued to grow over the decades. In 2009 the founding members Ray Manzarek & Robby Krieger have lit a new fire using their familiar monikers; Manzarek-Krieger. Manzarek-Krieger offers fans of The Doors body of work an opportunity to see the originators at their musical best, and a place to celebrate this great musical legacy. You can expect to hear all the familiar hits performed with a reverence, and all the aplomb you’d expect from these great musicians to a spell bound audience. So, get ready to “break on through” once again with Manzarek-Krieger. The times may have changed, but the message clearly remains the same.
