RAW AND DESPERATE, the explosively creative minds that brought Austin last years PANDORAS BOX is ready to strike again! Friday, November 9th will find Austins cooperative collective, THE COMPOUND hosting a thrilling return of bygone mysticism and marvels re-imagined by some of Austins artistic visionaries - THE ALLEGED MEDICINE SHOW!

This event draws inspiration from traveling medicine shows of the 19th and early 20th centuries, bringing strange and frightening wonders to small-town, unsuspecting America. While Austin is no hub of small-town naivte, it had best be prepared to unbunch its bloomers and open its eyes to the scintillating sensation known as the ALLEGED MEDICINE SHOW.

THE ALLEGED MEDICINE SHOW will showcase the multifarious talents of some of Austins most singular artistic outlaws - paintings, drawings, photos, sculpture, fashion, photography, music, burlesque, fire-dancing by SAGE and other unpredictabilities.

Feel as small-town America must have felt - breathless and humbled before a host of wonders the likes of which have not been seen in this bold new millennium.

Bow helplessly before the musical might of New Orleans one man band madman RATTY SCURVICS SINGULARITY and Austins self-described shipwrecked gypsy punk romantics WINOVINO!

THE ALLEGED MEDICINE SHOW will be held at THE COMPOUND on 1300 E. 4th St. at Waller on Friday November 9th. It opens to the public at 9 pm - come prepared to be wildly inspired, if not forever changed! Creative revolution is at hand. The cover is $9.
