Join us for the 2008 ArtWalk, a tour of arts and industry in the Ravenswood Corridor!

Over 100 artists have already registered for this year’s ArtWalk Ravenswood. The signature event of ArtWalk Ravenswood is the October Tour of Arts and
Industry in honor of Chicago Artists’ Month. Each year the tour has encompassed more than 50 venues and hundreds of working, professional and emerging artists.

This year’s tour is shaping up to be a great event for art lovers of all ages. There will be live performances featuring dance, music and film screening; special events just for children and of course, art, art and more art!

ArtWalk Ravenswood is a non-for profit 501(c)(3) organization that’s mission is to generate community investment in the artistic, industrial and historic importance of Ravenswood and to raise awareness for the unique hub of creative practices that exists here.

Mark your calendar now! The dates are Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, 2008. ArtWalk will be exclusively on Ravenswood Avenue and a trolley sponsored by Alderman Gene Schulter will provide shuttle service from Cornelia on the South and Lawrence to the North.
