Allen Fish speaks at the San Francisco Naturalist Society monthly meeting. Every autumn, thousands of migrating birds of prey appear over the Golden Gate channel. Why are they here? Where do they go? The Golden Gate Raptor Observatory (GGRO) is made up of three staff members and more than 250 community volunteers, all dedicated to studying the autumn hawk migration. Allen Fish has been the Director of the GGRO for over 20 years. He has also taught Raptor Biology at UC Davis. Free and pen to the public.
