Random Farms Kids' Theater: the Wiz August 9, 2008

'The Wiz' is a funky, contemporary re-telling of 'The Wizard of Oz.' Songs include 'Ease On Down The Road,' 'Home' and 'If You Believe.' The show won the seven Tony Awards in 1975, including Best Musical. A film version was made in 1978, starring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson. All of the roles in RFKT's version are played by young people, ranging in age from elementary school through college. They come from throughout the tri-state area and have a wealth of film, television and Broadway experience.
