Rally / Protest - INTERNATIONAL ANTI SEAL HUNT DAY March 14, 2009

At Noon on March 14th, rallies and demos will be held worldwide to protest the upcoming Canadian commercial seal hunt. Canada has been clubbing about a quarter million seals for their fur every year. 98% of the seals who will be hunted are under 12 weeks old. Many will be skinned alive while fully conscious.
This is an invitation to all individuals, local groups and organizations to join this event and speak out against this shameful and barbaric hunt.
Sea Shepherd Calgary will supply some placards and handouts, but you can also bring your own. Looking forward to seeing you all on March 14th!
