Raising Cane’s opens its third location in Arizona

(TEMPE, Ariz.)- Less than a year after the first Raising Cane’s made its way into Arizona and opened two stores, the popular restaurant is preparing to open its third location on August 17th, 2012 at the corner of University & Rural. The restaurant famous for its fresh and never frozen chicken fingers is bringing its combo meals to Tempe on August 17, 2012.

Tempe’s first Raising Cane’s restaurant will be located at 960 E University Dr. Starting at 10am on August 17th, the doors will open and the first 101 people in line will be awarded a free box combo. One lucky person in line will also win Cane’s for a year. Also attending the Grand Opening festivities ASU’s Sparky and four members of ASU’s Spirit Squad.

“As soon as we mentioned we were coming to Phoenix, people started asking, ‘When are you coming to Tempe?’ Well, here we are and we couldn’t be more excited,” said co-owner Justin Micatrotto. “The Tempe location is perfect for Raising Cane’s to spread the chicken finger love.”

Raising Cane’s which already has locations at I-17 and Peoria and 44th Street and Thomas in Phoenix hosted several job fairs over the summer and added 60 new enthusiastic crew members to the Cane’s family.
During the opening festivities Raising Cane’s will also present a generous check to Valley of the Sun United Way. To date the Micatrotto Restaurant group, franchise partners for Raising Cane’s, has donated $10,000 from their two previous grand openings. The money will be raised during the VIP and Media pre-opening parties held on August 16th at the Tempe location.
