Bonnie Rose Hershberger, a lonely single mother with a troubled teenage son refuses to mourn her estranged parents who recently died in a mysterious bear attack. She retreats to the top of Bear Mountain where she downs a bottle of pills. Bonnie is rescued (or is she abducted?) by a bear-beast who takes her to his cave. Nature, in all its romantic savagery, provides the setting where mysteries abound and three worlds collide in an emotional romp through heavenly and earthly planes.
