Rain: The Beatles Experience

New Jersey Performing Arts Center
Wednesday, November 14, 2007

Tickets - $18 - $76

Ever wish you could have experienced The Beatles live? Now you can! Be there for the rebirth of the British Invasion with Rain, the world’s most acclaimed tribute to Paul, John, George and Ringo. This multi-media event begins with the Beatles’ arrival in the U.S. for their historic debut on The Ed Sullivan Show, then recreates the Fab Four’s musical journey through the Sgt. Pepper era and the days of Abbey Road – all performed note-for-note and live! Rain provides a thrilling trip through the 1960’s, complete with archival footage, live video technology, and awesome sound and lighting effects that put you at the very heart of the Beatles experience.

Prior to the performance, join us for an NJPAC Prelude in the Prudential Hall lobby, featuring live music courtesy of harpguitarist, singer and songwriter Dan LaVoie. One of the few musicians in the world actively composing and performing on the rare instrument known as the harpguitar, LaVoie brings a distinct sound and texture to his acoustic sets. He released his self-titled debut CD in 2003 and is currently preparing for the release of his follow-up, Cause and Effect.
