Rain gardens are a beautiful and colorful way for homeowners, businesses and municipalities to allow water to seep back into the ground instead of going through our city’s aging stormwater system. Join us for the unveiling of the plan for the Rain Garden Project at the Green Hills Branch Library, presented by local engineers Laura Reinbold of TTL, Inc., a geotechnical, environmental and construction testing firm, and Paul Finger Lynes, president of Paul Lynes, LLC, an environmental engineering consultancy involved in storm water management. They will discuss this exciting project and present similar techniques for backyard gardeners. The Rain Garden Project is sponsored by the Friends of the Green Hills Branch Library.
