A JOURNEY THROUGH THE LIFE, PHILOSOPHY AND MUSIC OF A R RAHMAN……

‘Rahmania’ is a show performed by Pune’s well reputed musical band ‘The Wandering Souls’. This show was conceptualized in the year 2006 and since then has been performed at various venues in and out of Maharashtra. Show conceptualized by Anmol Bhave, which is a journey through life, philosophy and music of A.R. Rahman. The concept is executed by well talented team comprising some of the best young musical and technical talents under the brand name "The Wandering Souls". Right from the chimes of “Chinna Chinna Asai” in “Roja”, A.R. Rahman has enchanted all generations of the nation with his out-of-this-world genre of music. He has made a home in the heart of every Indian. Rahmania is an attempt by The Wandering Souls to bring this genius out of those hearts and have conversation with him through his music. This is the only show based on AR Rahman’s songs, which presents a compiled program of his songs, seldom attempted by anyone much because of the complex orchestration and offbeat type of music of maestro AR Rahman. The show comprise of some of Pune’s best young musical and technical talents along with some budding ones, who are already working together under the name The Wandering Souls.



The Wandering Souls (TWS) performed live with the Oscar winning composer AR Rahman during his Jai Ho concert in Pune on 31’st May 2009. Since 18’th July 2003, The Wandering Souls, has performed on numerous occasions at venues like Ganesh Kala Rangamanch, Fergusson College (Muktachanda Youth Fest), Tilak Smarak Mandir, Yashwantrao Chawan auditorium, Balgandharva auditorium, Gold Adlabs, Ramakrishna More Auditorium, Infosys in Pune & Bengaluru, for Cognizant in Pancard Club, for Mindtree in Corinthian club and also in other cities like Indore (Symbiosis group), Nashik (Lokmat group), Kolhapur (M B Entertainments) and Channel B, Thane and Jim Corbett National Park.
