Raglan Festival June 14, 2012

Raglan Festival is a community event set in the idyllic village of Raglan Monmouthshire, this year represents the eighth successive year and promises to be our biggest and best yet. Following on from last years hugely successful 10cc gig within the Castle grounds, we are excited to be extending the use of this fantastic venue to the Saturday and Sunday. Tony Hadley and Go West will both performing at the Castle on the Saturday with the Sunday dedicated as a family day with some great tribute acts incl. The Great Pretender (Freddie Mercury) and UKU2.

As ever there is a diverse range of acts across all our venues.

Alongside our performers we are again hosting a Children's Workshops at Raglan School on the Saturday morning, with a range of instruments available for children to practice their next no.1 smash!!

Also for younger people this year sees the introduction of our Battle of the Bands contest for up and coming local musicians with a first prize of supporting Tony Hadley at the Castle on Saturday.
