Rachel Rossos, Folk Rock Storyteller

Rachel Rossos provides the melody. Born in New Jersey and schooled in New York City, the 23-year-old folk rock storyteller grew within the Manhattan club scene, weaving together guitar, voice, and bittersweet poetry in such venues as the Knitting Factory, CBGBs Gallery, and Postcrypt Coffeehouse. Her 2004 debut CD "Rated R" is available on CDBaby.com and in most digital retail stores, including iTunes. In 2006, Rachel moved to the west coast where she is now the Marketing Director for the New Century Chamber Orchestra (www.ncco.org). She has performed in various San Francisco venues, including Encounter Studios and Retox Lounge. In August and October 2006, Rachel was a featured guest on the Cable TV show "SF Open Mic." Most recently, Rachel's voice could be heard in the Studio Theatre's production of "The Pillowman" in Washington, D.C.
