Rachel Greene, Rhizome: Penny W Stamps Lecture September 22, 2005

The author of the book Internet Art, Rachel Greene believes that the internet may be the best medium for those interested in avant-garde and oppositional art-making. Greene has written for Artforum, Frieze, Contemporary, and Time Out New York, as well as organizing exhibitions at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. From 2003-2005 was the Executive Director of Rhizome.org, an online resource for writing and information about new media art.
