This five day course is designed for those who are responsible for managing their companys audit program and for those who want to further improve their internal audit skills. This challenging course assumes some priorTL 9000or auditing experience.
The DESARA Group emphasizes the importance of adding value from the audit process, so our main objective is to ensure that you are competent and capable of managing your audit system and auditing your companys processes upon your return. We accomplish this by emphasizing key concepts with workshops, case studies, and role plays throughout the first four days of the class. The course culminates with a written examination on the morning of the fifth day.

Interpreting the TL 9000 requirements, with emphasis on auditing beyond compliance, including a preview ofTL 9000release 5.0
Understanding the audit system using the ISO 19011 guidance document
Embracing the role of audit team leader
Planning activities including audit program management, audit agenda planning, checklist preparation, and team management skills
Reviewing and evaluating quality system documentation
Conducting the audit, including interviewing skills, managing audit team members, addressing problems with the auditee, and daily reporting activities
Reporting nonconformities in a factual, helpful manner
Writing a summary report from your audit
Following up on audit findings
