Cirque du Soleil returned to Australia in August 2004, following sell-out tours of the company's previous spectacular productions Saltimbanco (1999) and Alegría (2001). Quidam's Australian tour includes Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Presented in the elegant splendour of Cirque du Soleil's new blue and yellow striped Grand Chapiteau (Big Top), Quidam is a show so extraordinary "it makes the impossible come true" (TIME Magazine). The show, which has already been seen by more than 6 million people world-wide, features a dizzying array of astounding sets, incredible effects and astonishing feats of acrobatic artistry.

More than 50 performers from 10 different nations come together to present this awe-inspiring spectacle. Quidam is the vision of the same creative team which conceived the multi-award-winning Saltimbanco and Alegría.

Quidam, pronounced "key-dam", is a Latin word for an anonymous passer-by. But whichever way you care to put it, it's one of the world's most impressive, sophisticated and fabulous theatrical experiences.
