ARTHUR LOVES PLASTIC is Bev Stanton, who was born in the Bahamas and raised near Walt Disney World. She has won over a dozen Washington Area Music Awards in the Electronica category, including 2007 Electronica Recording Wammie for the album Beneath the Watchful Eyes. Her music has appeared in shows on the Discovery Channel, VH1, MTV and other cable television networks. Last year, two of her tracks appeared on the Geico Caveman's iPod.

THE WINDOW SHOPPERS are Linda Smith (guitar + vocals), Bev Stanton (bass + recording production), Mary Fox (vocals + lyrics), Chris Chernes (percussion) and Paul Baroody (drums). Born in a basement in NE Baltimore, the Window Shoppers make music that might be most accurately described as improvisational punk rock. Inspired by the likes of The Bush Tetras, X Ray Spex, Pylon and Patti Smith (though not really sounding like any of them), the Window Shoppers never play their songs the same way twice. Their album Clear Your Dirt is available from CD Baby.

DANIELLE EVENNOU is a poet and ex-cheerleader from Central New Jersey. Her poems have appeared in Objet d' Art and Blue Collar Review. She is currently board president of the DC women's spoken word organization, mothertongue.

REGIE CABICO has appeared on two seasons of HBO's Def Poetry Jam. His work appears in over 30 anthologies including The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry. He is a pioneer of the spoken word movement having won top prizes in the National Poetry Slam and as a former Nuyorican Poets Cafe Grand Slam Champion. He is the artistic director of Sol & Soul, an arts and activist organization.

DAN VERA is the author of The Space Between Our Danger and Delight (Beothuk Books, 2008), his first full length collection of poems. His work has appeared in various print and online publications. He is also edits of the Gay culture journal White Crane, founder of Brookland Area Writers & Artists, and co-publisher of VRZHU Poetry Press. He makes his home in Washington D.C. with his partner Peter Montgomery and their operatic dog, Roofus.

ERYCA KASSE is a Jewish, lesbian poet and writer, working on her masters in social work. She lives in DC with her two cats Nina and Olive.
