Equal parts early '70s hard rock and late '70s punk, Queens of the Stone Age are one of the leading bands of the stoner rock movement. Eagles of Death Metal features Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. Despite the namesake, the sound is far from death metal. Instead Homme goes the way of a more scuzzy, sexed-up and danceable brand of rock' n' roll.
