May 30th, 2009 promises to be a full-day literary experience, starting with Nia Promotions' "Beauty, Books and Banter" Breakfast from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Wyndham Garden Hotel, 175 Piedmont Ave. NE, Atlanta 30306. This will be a buffet with the participating authors.

Final stop: The 'Quadruple A' (African American Authors in Atlanta) Literary Event from 3-7 p.m. at The Uptown Restaurant & Lounge, 201 Courtland St., Atlanta 30303.
Authors & readers will get to meet and mingle (and buy or sell, of course.) I will have more details on the author lineup as they come in. There will be light hors'dourves and a cash bar.
All three venues are within a 5 mile radius! Please come enjoy the day with us.The Uptown Restaurant & Lounge - General Admission: $25 before Mar. 31st /$40 after Mar. 31st Authors: Admission includes table for 2 hour book promotion (3-5 or 5-7 p.m.) AND an interview on BlogTalk Radio's "A Date with Destiny." Please note:All sales proceeds go to the author. You are asked to donate four (4) books for our readers. I will be emailing a donation receipt after the event. Please send me an email indicating that you are an author and the titles you are donating after purchasing your ticket. There's a contact link on the ticket page. For authors who attend all 3 sessions (breakfast, library & club) & use the shuttle, the approx. total is $60.00 ($160.00 inc. 1 night stay) before Mar. 31st. /$90 ($190.00 inc. 1 night stay) after Mar.31st. ***Limited to 30 author spots, 1st Come, 1st Serve*** Readers: Admission includes one (1) personally autographed book from the attending author of your choice. Authors are donating book giveaway, but if one runs out, please have a second choice. Vendors' Admission: $50 before Mar. 31st/$75 after Mar. 31st (Marketing materials will be distributed and/or displayed at breakfast.) I've worked a deal ($92/night, King or double Queen) with the Wyndham Garden Hotel which is in walking distance to The Uptown Restaurant & Lounge. You will also be able to use the hotel shuttle ($5.00 R/T) to and from the club.
