From flavorpillLA: With faces replaced by robotic fangs or elaborate patterns, these are the children of the apocalypse ? or at least, these are their toys. Seemingly overnight, bear kubricks and vinyl toys have switched from quirky underground phenomena to highly sought-after mainstream collectibles. (Even McDonald's have been talking about doing one). Artists and designers of all types, such as Koz and Dalek, have contributed to the onslaught on display in Pasadena; some figures are cute and cuddly, but the majority are edgy and plenty out-there. QEEology presents the show, bringing together collectors and enthusiasts for a day of appreciation and trading.
