Purchase Dance Corps Presents Production Of Nutcracker ’08 December 7, 2008

Nutcracker ’08 features more than 180 Conservatory of Dance students and choreography by the Purchase College School of the Arts, Conservatory of Dance faculty, with artistic direction by former New York City Ballet soloist and Conservatory ballet faculty member Bettijane Sills of White Plains, N.Y.

New York City Ballet Principal Dancers Ashley Bouder and Jared Angle will once again join the Purchase Dance Corps to perform the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. This year the role of Clara will be shared by Sarah Better of Greenwich, CT, Amanda Kraus of Mt. Kisco, and Caroline Rotante of Yonkers.
