Puppet Show: "Rumpelstiltskin" June 21, 2009

Using handmade puppets, Rolande Duprey performs in the traditional toy theatre style of the 1800s. Ms. Duprey, of Purple Rock Productions, has an MFA in puppetry from the University of Connecticut. The puppet show will be performed on the front lawn of the historic home of poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Part of the "Family Sundays" series at the Longfellow National Historic Site. Every Sunday throughout the summer, free 19th-century games, arts, and poetry are available for children and families from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
