Richard Pryor said, "Talk about what you know." We Pundits know the South Asian experience and boy, do we talk about it. "Pundits with Punchlines" is a standup comedy show which features five comedians of South Asian descent, talking about the Indian-America experience. The creator of the show, Tapan Trivedi, like tamarind paste, is an export of India. As is Samson Koletkar, a Indian Jew. Hasan Minhaj is what South Asians call an "ABCD" (American Born Confused Desi). And he's our token Muslim. We feature two up-and-coming female guest performers on the bill (they make jokes, not Chai). From curry to being mistaken for Arab to millions of Gods to racism, we keep the laughs coming all night long. Both the Oakland Tribune and SF Gate call this show "a must see."
