Pumpkin Festival in Central Park October 27, 2007

Help break a world record! Bring a carved pumpkin to Central Park and take part in a battle with the city of Boston for the greatest amount of jack-o’-lanterns lit in one setting. Displays will be at Bethesda Fountain, Dead Road, the Bandshell Area, and Literary Walk!

While you’re in the park, have your face painted to match your pumpkin, eat a pumpkin-flavored treat, or teach one of our bands your favorite pumpkin-themed song. (note from nycgovparks.org)
