Pumpkin Carving for Families October 23, 2009

'Halloween in Central Park' is a frightfullly-fun time. Get in the holiday spirit when you create a jack-o'-lantern with Central Park Conservancy staff. If you dare, leave it to be displayed for hundreds of New Yorkers at the annual Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Sail and watch it float on the Harlem Meer in the event's culminating pumpkin sail at 5:30 pm. Pumpkin and carving tools are provided for the first 40 children six years or older with an accompanying adult. No advance registration. No groups, please.
