This month sees the Youth Movement at PulseWave as Indie Popsters Anamanaguchi (http://www.myspace.com/anamanaguchi) brings their NES style take on smooth weezer style power pop soar majestically like one of the prettier birds. Y'know better than a eagle or something.

Supporting them are Tugboat (http://www.myspace.com/tugboat), ferocious NES/Live drums hybrid that will have you swooning from his first downbeat, to his Kelly Clarkson Mega-Mix. Fans of American Idol and Tortoise will not be disappointed.

And opening the show is enigmatic Chip Math Guitar hero, Shawn Phase with his TempSoundSolutions (http://www.tempsoundsolutions.tk/) project. Combining the intricate chipstyle melodic with crunching lowfi metal riffing, this Baltimore veterans of bands alongside various Noise and Video Game Music heroes such as CEXX, ViRT and more, see the man Nintendo Power magazine calls "The Video Game Kurt Cobain", and realize how much cooler he is than that.
