Foreclosure Assistance Seminar

The mortgage crisis has left no community untouched. Foreclosures have reached numbers not seen since the Great Depression. Over 500 homeowners are served with a notice of default everyday. Homeowners may be overwhelmed by adjusting rate loans they can no longer afford, declining property values, or may have already been served with a notice of default from their lender. Foreclosure and other negative consequences may be imminent, but not inevitable.

The most important step to take if you are a homeowner in trouble, or concerned about what the future holds, is to educate yourself about your rights and know what options are available to you.

The National Real Estate Council, a Non-Profit Corporation, is dedicated to free community outreach and education.

A FREE Consumer Seminar will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
1624 California Street, Between Polk and Van Ness in San Francisco
This seminar covers the foreclosure process and timelines involved. The various options to foreclosure, such as short sales, loan modifications, and deed in lieu of foreclosure process will be discussed, as well as tax and credit consequences.
