Prostate cancer is the third most common cancer among men aged 60 and above in Singapore. It is the sixth leading cause of death among men. This burden is expected to rise with Singapore facing an ageing population.

There still remains a worrying trend of ageing men in Singapore delaying their first diagnosis, and only going to doctors at the advanced stages of prostate cancer.

At the public health talk on 31 March 2013, a panel of highly experienced doctors will be speaking on the diagnosis and treatment options of prostate cancer; and answer any questions or misconceptions one might have regarding prostate cancer.

This event is open to all.
