PS XO May 6, 2009

PS XO is a new duo formed by Val Opielski (guitar/vocals) and Heather Wagner (drums/vocals) while their bandmates in the Walking Hellos were on maternity leave. Dense layers of looped distorted guitar, odd time signature changes and disarmingly sweet vocals move somewhere in the interstices between Throwing Muses, Shellac, King Crimson and Japanese noise rock.
