Proviso Township "Get Out The Vote" (GOTV) Rally

Proviso Township Democratic Organization will host a "Get Out The Vote" rally on Thursday, October 28, at the Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 1309 W. Madison in Maywood. Rally will start at 7 PM.

"Now more than ever we need to elect those who believe in the core values of the Democratic Party," exclaimed Proviso Township Democratic Committeeman Karen Yarbrough. "Our candidates advocate for good schools, quality health care, ethical leadership and a commitment to create jobs," Committeeman Yarbrough added.

Democratic candidates committed to attending the Rock of Ages GOTV Rally include Alexi Giannoulias, U.S. Senate Candidate; Governor Pat Quinn, Shelia Simon, lieutenant governor candidate; David Miller, candidate for comptroller; and Robin Kelly, state treasurer candidate.

Others who will attend include Congressman Danny K. Davis, Camille Lilly, 78th District State Representative candidate, and State Representative Karen Yarbrough. Entertainment will be provided by the Proviso East Jazz Band.
